Opus Pinboard Panels

Opus is our ‘hook & loop’ compatible and pin-friendly acoustic panel, made from Acoufelt’s FilaSorb™ acoustic felt. Opus panels are ideal for education and workplace settings as a direct replacement for traditional pinboards and noticeboards. Supplied in full panels with square edges, Opus is easy to install with seamless joins for a clean, flat finish.

Opus is a product born from the ingenious combination of a soft ‘hook & loop’ compatible felt skin, available in an array of vibrant colors, which is laminated onto a resilient acoustic backing panel. These backing panels are classified as ‘B grade’, which means they possess minor imperfections that disqualify them from serving as a finished product, but perfect for use as backing material in our Opus collection.

FilaSorb 12 comes in all full colors, and has a continuous solid color rigid core for versatility in design and cutting applications.

FilaSorb 22 is made from a low GSM, soft PET core with rigid top and bottom skins, making it perfect for ceiling installations due to its lightweight construction.

FilaSorb V30 is a high performance architectural engineered acoustic tile. The V in V30 refers the technology used to construct the tight, vertical structure of fibers, resulting in a world-leading lightweight material of structural integrity, guaranteed to retain a rigid form in ceiling applications. Made in Australia using over 80% recycled material, V30 tiles achieve an NRC up to 0.85, and are offered in a wide range of colour and design options.
