Acoufelt Sponsors UTS School of Architecture End-of-Year Exhibition 2025

Celebrating Innovation and Design at UTS

Acoufelt collaborated with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) School of Architecture for its highly anticipated End-of-Year Exhibition 2025, held on campus on Thursday, November 20th.

This annual event is a highlight for the architecture and design community, showcasing the creativity of students while bringing together leading firms and professionals for an evening of inspiration and networking.

For the second consecutive year, Acoufelt participated as Platinum Sponsor, a testament to the strong relationship built with UTS and the trust in Acoufelt’s products. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, functionality, and design excellence.

Acoustic Panels with Purpose

For this year’s exhibition, Acoufelt supplied 85 acoustic panels that served as vertical display boards for student projects. These panels were not only functional but also aligned perfectly with the event’s vision. Our contribution featured a curated palette of colors, including Iris, Shiraz, Valentine, Stonewash, Lilac, Lipstick, and Thistle, adding vibrancy and personality to the space.

The panels delivered multiple benefits:

  • Acoustic Performance: Perfect for large, open spaces, reducing noise and enhancing the experience.
  • Sustainability: Panels are reusable, supporting UTS’s commitment to environmentally responsible design.
  • Versatility: Easily pinnable surfaces for showcasing drawings and concepts.
  • Aesthetic Appeal: Bold, fun colors complemented the creative energy of the exhibition.

Designing for the Ears and Eyes

In a speech during the event, Daniella Candido, Acoufelt’s Architectural and Design Specification Manager, shared:

“We take a holistic approach to create sustainable architectural acoustic solutions for floors, walls, and ceilings. Our mantra is to improve the human experience by designing for the ears as well as the eyes.”

Industry Impact and Collaboration

Acoufelt worked closely with Endriana Audisho (Lecturer & Public Programs Director) and curators Janelle Woo and Umi Graham to bring their vision for this year’s theme, “MORI”, to life. The concept explored architecture as a dynamic, interconnected field — a philosophy that resonates strongly with Acoufelt’s own approach to design.

Supporting UTS isn’t just about one event. It’s about fostering innovation and sustainability in architectural practice. By collaborating with students and educators, Acoufelt is helping shape the next generation of architects and designers.

Looking Ahead

Acoufelt is proud to have played a role in such an inspiring showcase and grateful to UTS for the continued partnership. As the company moves into 2026, it remains committed to collaborating with educational institutions and design professionals to create spaces that look and sound exceptional.
