The design brief for Wurkspace7 was to accommodate Cash Converters growing headcount, ensuring the workspace remained functional and comfortable whilst maintaining a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. Tasked with incorporating 172 workstations, formal and informal meetings areas, executive offices, a welcome reception area, waiting area, as well as all staff amenities, special attention needed to be given to safeguard the acoustic privacy of the mixed-use space.
Acoufelt WoodBeQuiet™ acoustic ceiling planks in color ‘Wine Barrel’ were installed above the reception and main boardroom as a nod to biophilic design, adding warmth to the neutral blue and grey tones of Cash Converters corporate branding. Acoufelt Masonry Brick QuietPrint™ Panels were also added as a feature wall in private meetings rooms, providing a textural, rustic contrast.
In addition to adding visual intrigue, the WoodBeQuiet™ planks and QuietPrint™ wall panels will contribute to improving the environmental soundscape; a vital consideration for populated, mixed-use workplaces. Achieving a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.45, the acoustic properties of both these products will aid in absorbing excess noise for improved focus, communication, and privacy.
